Yesterday I spoke to the owners of a brand new wedding venue opening very soon to the Brentwood area. It is a gorgeous piece of property (10 acres if I remember correctly) off of Sunset Road called Newberry Estate Vineyards. Beyond beautiful! All this wedding talked made me realize I haven’t been updating this blog much… at all. So I went back through some of my wedding images and pulled some pictures from my engagement and wedding photography to share with you all today. I even busted out the story collages – watch out world!

Shannon and Nick were great to work with, and got married at The River Mill in French Camp. We did their engagement session in some orchards in Ripon, at sunset. I loved their final product. I think sun flare pictures are beautiful when done at an engagement session. Something about the haze they put on the photos that make them look like the sun is setting just for them. Going through my past session made me remember how much I loved it! Something I need to do more often.

It is so hard to pick just a few pictures to share from their wedding. As most of my inquiring brides know I have galleries with more images from each wedding for them to view. So if you would like to see more please email me. I can send you the links to them.

One of my all time favorites is when Shannon had ALL of her bridesmaids trying to bustle her dress. It was pretty comical and made for great candid pictures. They used a sword from Nick’s grandfather to cut the cake at their wedding, and their candy bar was amazing. Shannon did a beautiful job with all the details of her day.
